Home / How It Works
Whether you're renting a kit for the weekend or earning from gear that sits in your garage, everything happens in one place — search, booking, messaging, payment, and reviews.
Every listing shows tested speeds, what’s in the kit, and the deposit up front — no surprises at pickup.
Search by city or map. Filter by kit type, dates, and price. Real speeds tested at real campsites on every listing.
Reserve your dates online — you’re only charged once the owner approves. The deposit is held per the listing terms and released when you return the kit.
Meet the owner, grab the kit, point it at the sky. Online in five minutes — with your host a message away the whole trip.
You set the rates, the deposit, and your calendar. We bring you renters, handle booking and payment, and back you with a signed agreement template and a deposit workflow.
Free. Photos, kit type, rates, deposit, and your availability calendar — live in about 10 minutes.
Chat with renters in the built-in messenger before accepting. Nothing is booked without your say-so.
Photograph the renter’s driver’s license, both sign the one-page rental agreement, photograph kit condition.
The rental fee is paid through the site at booking (card via Stripe). The deposit is collected per your listing terms at pickup.
Inspect the kit, photograph condition, release the deposit. Leave a review — it protects the next owner too.
Everything you need for a clean handoff, free to download from your dashboard.
The short version of everything renters ask us.
No — service is active on the owner’s plan. You rent the kit, turn it on, and you’re online.
Most listings run an unlimited roaming plan — no cap for normal land use. The listing always states the plan included.
Your deposit covers repair or replacement per the rental agreement you sign at pickup.
Land use in the US only unless the listing says otherwise — it’s a condition of the owner’s service plan.
A nearby camper shares their running satellite network with your site for your stay — no equipment to pick up or return. The host shares the network password through on-platform messages once your booking is confirmed.
Yes — power stations, solar panels, and cords, as add-ons to any kit booking or as standalone listings.
